For the moment, I'm using a template that I grabbed from Blogger Templates. They provided an .xml files, which you can upload it instantly and then, there you are, a new template ;) No extra steps for the copy and paste ;)

Garfield

Garfield the Cat first appearance is 19 June 1978.

A fat, lazy, cynical, but endearing cat. Born in the kitchen of Mamma Leoni's Italian restaurant, Garfield weighed five pounds, six ounces at birth and right from the start he showed a passion for Italian food. The restaurant owner, forced to choose between Garfield and closing his doors for lack of pasta, sold Garfield to a pet store. Garfield thought he was a goner until Jon Arbuckle walked in the door.

Garfield is a funny comic strip created by Jim Davis. In the comic strip there were also his owner Jon, and Odie the dog.



Above is the first comic strip of Garfield ^^ there's a whole exciting world to explore in Garfield :) And it seems that i only know a little bit of Garfield, Jon, Liz, and Odie :P There's a whole bunch of other characters too.

So if you wanted to have a Garfield's Daily Comic, you can have it in two ways ;)

First is Garfield Desktop Comic :) You won't be needing a browser ;)

Or you have can easily browse all the archive here ^^ and most favourite of all, is that you can have it daily in your RSS reader ;) yes, they offer you a feeds for it :)

My Name in Arabic

My Name in Arabic is offering you the service of writing your name in Arabic letters. All you need to do is send Reem an email, write your name, and explain how your name is pronounced. Since the writings will be based on the pronunciation of your name ;)

And Reem, have made me one, a beautiful one ;)

My name is Efendi, and in Arabic is إفندي

Nice eh ;)

And turns out, that Efendi was originated from Turki. Reem pointed me out for this, and here are some quotes from wikipedia.

Effendi or Efendi (from Turkish Efendi) is a Turkish title meaning a lord or master. It is a title of respect or courtesy, equivalent to the English Sir, in Turkey and some other Eastern countries. It follows the personal name, when it is used, and is generally given to members of the learned professions, and to government officials who have no higher rank, such as Bey or Pasha. It may also indicate a definite office, as Hekim efendi, chief physician to the sultan. The possessive form efendim (my master) is used by servants and in formal intercourse.

I never knew that before :P

Learn to Make Games in Javascript

Michal Wallace from javascriptgamer.com have written a great tutorial on how to make a game, using only javascript ;)


This is a very nice tutorial especially to understand javascript a little bit more ;) well, the javascript that were being used is prototype.

The tutorials covers all of the basic javascript syntax to the OOP side of it :) With lots of addition e.g: Event handling, Sound, AJAX, etc.

Of course in order to understand this, you must have the prequisite knowledge of HTML and CSS ;) Which I'm sure you already have mastered it ;)

If you followed the tutorial step-by-step you will have a nice looking BrickSlayer in your web-page ;) and who knows if you can be a guru and built this kinda game ;)
